Jacksonville, FL

While in northern Florida in 2011 we stayed the night in Jacksonville. We had a couple of things we wanted to do that day but first we attended a church service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church . It was a great service and everyone was very nice and welcoming. We stayed around to talk for a few people but it started getting warm, so we left to do the Budweiser Brewery Tour.

It was a good tour but no horses (unless you count the big statue out front). Either way it was enjoyable. We had to wait a while for the next tour and it was nice walking around the gardens and reading some signs about Budweiser. Of course, the free beer was also great! We didn’t do much else that day besides grab a quick lunch and head toward Tallahassee. We did see the Everbank Field where the Jacksonville Jaguars play. It was cool to see that.
