Our Trip to Minneapolis & St Paul
We were in Minneapolis in June of 2005 for the annaul LWMS Convention but did try to do a few things while we were there.
Being a female, or course I had to hit the Mall of America in Bloomington. We spent a few hours in there an only hit the south side I believe. There is no way you could get through the mall in one shopping trip. It is huge! We even went twice and still didn’t see half of it. We were trying to work our way to see one of my other customers, but never made it. Not enough time. I did buy a couple of things, just to say I bought something in the Mall of America. It is actually the second largest in North America behind the West Edmonton Mall in Canada

Another thing we did was drive around and checked out some of the lakes. At one point, we ended up at Lake Minnetonka and thought about the movie Purple Rain. : ) We even took a stroll and had dinner near the lake. It was a nice afternoon/evening.

Sadly, the one thing we didn't get to do was tour the Metrodome where the where the Minnesota Twins play all their home games. However, they are in the process of building a new wonderful staduim which will be called Target Field . Sadly It wasn't finished when we were there, but I will see it next time we re in Mineapolis.

We also went to the St. Paul Capitol . We didn't have a chance to do a tour, butit is a nice capital and we will do a tour the next time we are in St. Paul

I wish we had more time to enjoy the Minneapolis area since there is so much more to see. Hopefully we will be back to see the new Target Field and do a few more attractions.

Here are a few fun things to do in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul area. Enjoy!
